    I had high hopes when going to view the Volkswagen Touran. But that was quickly shot down in flames when I discovered water inside the front passenger side as the seal needs replacing. We also then discovered that the front bottom ball joints needed replacing, there was iron fillings in the oil and the rear subframe bushes non existent. In the advert it also claims there is a full service history which there wasn't and a 12 month MOT but that expires tomorrow

    AVOID! ignored me for weeks when the car i bought had an issue, finally said hed send me warranty details to claim, but nothing came. i asked for the warranty company name, phoned them and there was no warranty! ignored me ever since.

    Buyer beware.

    Beware when buying a car from this business. I paid £8500 for a Ford Mondeo and despite assurances it was mechanically sound with no known faults it went into limp mode on the motorway on the way home. The resultant garage repair of £150 was paid promptly by the seller. The car was covered by a 3 months warranty but this document was not included in the sales pack. However, within a few weeks a further fault developed with the water pump and I was assured that the cost of the subsequent repair would be met by the seller. This amounted to £415. The seller has still not refunded this money despite several phone calls and texts messages. Over 3 months have now elapsed and I have still not received a refund and the seller does not now answer my calls or texts. Moreover, I have still not received a copy of the warranty. He previously stated that I would have to wait for him to receive repayment from the company he bought the car from before he could pay me. I told him my contract for buying the car was with him not any third party. This was obviously a stalling tactic. So, don’t fall for the sales patter, make sure he valets and services your car before purchase and provides a valid 12 months MOT, because you are going to need it. This company is one to be avoided at all costs.

    Wastes your time and money

    Massive waste of time & money. Called up & booked a viewing, and was told it would be ready for me, so spent the money on a background check & drove over an hour from Worksop to be told it was sold! Wasn’t even man enough to tell me himself so he sent his wife to the door in a dressing gown to make me go away. Don’t waste your time, go somewhere else.

    DONT LISTEN TO ANY OF THE GOOD REVIEWS, THEY ARE ALL LIES. WHEN A PROBLEM OCCURED SAYS ‘ILL SORT IT OUT’ then proceeds to ignore phone calls and messages. VERY unprofessional. Wouldn’t give WARRANTY after asking god knows how many times and ignores messages and phone calls.

    Appalling after sales!

    Bought a car that brought up an EML on my return trip from picking up the car, about 50 miles from home (350 mile drive back), I informed the dealer the next day of the issue as I was still awaiting a warranty policy number to make a claim, but subsequently found out that as it was linked to the last MOT a few months prior, the 3rd party warranty company wouldn't cover it, claiming it to be a pre-existing issue (it wasn't! But thats a separate issue) but nor would DHB car sales honour any form of repair, despite them knowing the full story and knowing the car had left without fault. They just made up excuse after excuse to fob you off. Then, when they ran out of excuses, turn to deliberately ignoring calls and messages. Take heed of this review and the others of a similar nature. Clearly this is a dealer that thinks after sales service is not something that is relevant or importanr to their business model!
